Summary

A basement bathroom can feel unfinished without the right shower enclosure. For this project, our client needed a frameless shower door that would match the clean look of marble tile and dark hardware, all while working within the limits of existing wall support.

The Work

Installed a 1/2" clear tempered frameless Euro style shower door with an inline notched panel and 90° return
Used a U-clamp system to support the glass where backing was unavailable
Chose matte black hardware, including an 8" D-pull handle, to match the bathroom fixtures

The Outcome

The new frameless glass enclosure brought a modern, open feel to the space. The matte black accents tied together the bathroom’s look, while the clear glass highlighted the tilework and made the whole room feel larger. Even without stud backing behind the door, the system stayed sturdy thanks to careful hardware placement. If you’re planning a bathroom update, we’re here to help you get it right.
